Hey guys! Dave here! Mike let me try my hand at making a guest comic for him while he was on vacation. This seemed like a great excuse to get a little bit more serious about drawing, so here we are. Man… making comics sure takes a long time. I don’t know how Mike does this 3 days a week. He is truly an American hero. Anyways, this was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy it!
A Note From Me
So here it is, the final guest comic of my guest comic comics extravaganza. Dave has been mentioning that he’s interested in starting up a webcomic for a while now, so I figured I’d offer him a guest spot to whet his proverbial whistle. He was kind enough to go out and purchase a Wacom tablet in order to put this one together which either shows a desire to take his cartooning to the next level or an over abundance of cash money lying about. I’m hoping it’s some combination of the two, though, because I want nothing but success for Dave, and more importantly I think he’s really funny and I don’t think he’s ever really trying.
He once described a korean dish he was eating by saying, “I’m feeling so many emotions right now: Salty, Spicy… Yellow…” Maybe you had to be there, but that still makes me chuckle. In addition to being hilarious, Dave is also one of the most talented software coders I’ve ever met. If “web cartoonist/software programmer” sounds like an odd combination to you, then maybe you should familiarize yourself with Ryan North. Perhaps someday, Dave can follow in North’s over sized stomping footsteps.
Finally, I’d like to thank all of my guest artists. They have made it possible for me to go on a ridiculous road trip without having to worry about this site. That is a truly awesome gift. So thank you!

Ummmm….. is Dave’s picture the comic? Cause is it just me, or is there not a comic? Cause although Dave and his Chop sideburns is pretty funny, I do believe it is another great “drawn by Mike” picture, and not Dave’s comic. Correct me if I’m wrong….which almost happened once, but I was mistaken….

Hmm… yea I guess other people have been having trouble seeing the comic. It works just fine for me in FireFox 3, but it won’t load for me in IE7.

Also your Ryan North links to a software company Quantz rather than the dinosaur comics address of qwantz.com For a fine fusion of nerds and webcomics, I would recomend http://www.xkcd.com
